KBM’s client is renowned for its high quality projects and going above & beyond for their clients.Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a Structural Technician to come join them and work on some exciting projects across Scotland. They are ideally looking for an individual who can liaise with clients and great long lasting relationships. As a Structural Technician you will be responsible for ensuring each project is in line with client requirements and budgetary limits.The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: * Liaise with an array of stakeholders, internally & externally. Ensuring advice and guidance is given on matters which are project related. * Assist with the development of structural solutions in a range of materials. * Be actively involved with projects ensuring budgetary limits and programme restraints are considered throughout. * Assist with documentation and report preparation when required. * Carry out site inspections and attend design & site meetings when required. * Be proficient and develop the relevant skills related to technical analysis software. * Ensure you are complying with our client’s training agreement and working towards Chartered Status.The key skills, knowledge and experience required: * A recognised qualification in Civil Engineering (master’s or bachelor’s degree preferred) * Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role. * Excellent communication and organisational skills is essential. * Must have the willingness to further develop your skills and training (gaining Chartership status) * Must have the ability to work to tight deadlines
