PC Build Engineer

Sharp is seeking a PC Build Engineer to join a small team based at our West Bromwich site. You will configure and deploy PCs and laptops for various clients across our business. The successful candidate will work to tight schedules, defined processes and specified build configurations. We are looking for a locally based, reliable and enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic and relevant experience in building and configuring PCs and laptops. The role is based at our West Bromwich site 5 days a week, usual working hours are 8.30-5.00 Key Responsibilities: PC and Laptop Builds: Assemble and configure PCs and laptops based on client specifications, ensuring each build meets exacting standards and performance requirements. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of hardware and software to guarantee reliability and performance before deployment. Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide tailored solutions that meet their needs. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all builds, including specifications, configurations, and testing results. Inventory Management: Manage and track inventory of components and peripherals to ensure availability and minimize downtime. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues that arise during the build process.
