The Professional Services team’s mission is to successfully implement and ingrain our solution to enable customers to utilize and adopt BetterWorks’ solution effectively over the long term. The Professional Services team is part of our Customer Success team, dedicated to delivering a world-class experience to our customers and helping them embrace Continuous Performance Enablement (CPE) and goal-setting best practices. The Talent Management Consultant is a vital, customer-facing role within the team, leading the charge to implement our solutions for our customers. This role reports to the Vice President of Professional Services.


What You'll Do


  • Manage multiple concurrent customer implementation projects from start to finish for enterprise customers, including Fortune 500 firms.
  • Consult with customers, from individual contributors to executives, on change management needed for a successful roll-out. This includes roll-out planning, program design, and executive engagement.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on Corporate HR Performance programs, including goal-setting, recognition, feedback, Calibration, Engagement Surveys, and the BetterWorks platform.
  • Support the Sales team by driving scoping discussions with prospects and owning the communication and the value that BetterWorks Professional Services can bring to their HR initiatives.
  • Develop and execute detailed implementation plans, including but not limited to coaching customers on developing tailored communication, training strategy, and technical integrations.
  • Closely manage project timelines, T&E, and scope to ensure on-time, on-budget project completion. Document any changes in scope and impact on price as needed.
  • Demonstrate cross-functional leadership to deliver exceptional services and make our customers successful.
  • Ensure a smooth hand-off to Customer Success following each project.
  • Help establish and improve the professional services team by building high-quality deliverables and repeatable processes and continually bringing innovative ideas.


What We Look For


  • 5+ years of experience in leading SaaS implementations for enterprise complex organizations, including building roll-out plans and consulting on change management.
  • Experience in consulting, professional services, customer success, or related fields.
  • Experience within the HR Talent Management space or being a Talent Management Program Owner within an HR department.
  • Exceptional client management and communications skills.
  • Ability to deliver key change management workshops to C-level leaders within large organizations.
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed - typically less than 10% travel required.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects with varying complexity levels.
  • Project Management Certification is a plus.
  • Strong presentation, meeting facilitation, and written communication skills.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Experience with Gainsight, JIRA, Salesforce, and Zendesk is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
