Position Summary:

Excited about building a new preanalytical business in clinical diagnostics? Help solve sample collection and processing challenges for diagnostics players, big and small, to give patients access to vital information for addressing diseases.


As a Business Development Manager, you'll grow the Diagnostics business by 50% in 3 years, working with a team of 4 other BDMs. Achieve 75% of revenue target by partnering with top in-vitro diagnostics companies. Revenue KPI: Solutions in IVD products. 25% revenue from startups or reference labs focusing on critical diseases. Duties:

* Critical to helping deliver budgeted new revenue in 2026; done well, this role is expected to book $2 MM+ of that new revenue.

* Needs to drive compelling positioning of pre-analytical portfolio to R&D, Medical Affairs and Procurement leaders in key diagnostics companies.

* Thinks holistically about the business - value prop, customer relationships, GTM methodology.

* Aggressive prospecting to understand where there is a need for our solutions.

* Relentless hunter for growth of our business through constant networking to build a very strong sales funnel.

* Consultative selling mindset to understand customer needs and be able to position their portfolio of standard solutions and custom capabilities to win diagnostics accounts.


Key Experience Needed:

* Demonstrated new business and funnel creation.

* Won and managed at least 3 key accounts and have grown business within them.

* Built multifunctional relationships up and down leadership levels.

* Have expanded portfolio of offerings being used by key account over time.

* Sold to companies like Roche, BD, Hologic among others for their diagnostics needs.

* Been in B2B sales for at least 5 years, preferably in the in-vitro-diagnostics space, but life sciences experience is also relevant.

* Business presentations to R&D and Product Leadership teams in addition to upper management.

* Preferred higher level degree in biological / life sciences.
