Role Summary:The ServiceNow SPM Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that align with an organization's strategic goals, particularly within the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) suite. This role ensures that business requirements are translated into scalable and efficient ServiceNow architectures, integrating with other modules such as ITSM, CMDB, and Financial Management. The successful candidate will have some understanding of the impact of other modules within a client environment on SPM as well as being comfortable with aligning both SPM data, core foundational data and other data from other modules.Key Responsibilities:Lead architecture design and implementation of ServiceNow SPM modules (Project, Demand, Resource, Goals, Financials).Align platform capabilities with business strategy and portfolio management needs.Provide technical governance and oversight across ServiceNow programs.Optimize data structures for performance, reporting, and analytics.Ensure seamless integration with ITSM, CMDB, and other enterprise systems.Guide implementation teams on best practices and reusable frameworks.Act as SME for SPM-related business requirements and roadmap planning.Support pre-sales activities, including solution design and presentations.Conduct workshops with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements.Develop technical documentation, workflows, and architecture diagrams.Keep up to date on the latest ServiceNow releases in relation to SPM, and potentially keep informed on competitor software so as to be better informed during client conversation.Train team members on ServiceNow functionality and updates.Required Skills & Experience:Extensive ServiceNow experience, with 4+ years focused on SPM.Proven experience in large-scale ServiceNow implementations.Strong understanding of ITIL processes and financial alignment.Hands-on experience with scripting (JavaScript, Python, etc.).Experience with integration tools and CMDB.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Certifications:ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITBM/SPMServiceNow Certified Application DeveloperITIL v3 or v4 Foundation Certification
