About This OpportunityWe now have a vacancy for an IT Governance & Cybersecurity Coordinator, for our European Information Systems team.The IT Governance & Cybersecurity Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining governance frameworks. This role supports compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards, while proactively identifying and mitigating security risks. The role holder will also be maintaining and supporting cybersecurity strategies to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information systems.The IT Governance & Cybersecurity Coordinator will collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers to ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and SOX controls, which may involve geographically distributed teams and resources.Main ResponsibilitiesCybersecurity Support: Support the implementation and monitoring of cybersecurity controls across infrastructure and applications Assist in vulnerability management, including scanning, reporting, and remediation tracking Coordinate incident response activities and maintain incident logs and reports Collaborate with SOC and third-party vendors to ensure threat intelligence and response capabilities are effective Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness programs for staff Promote a culture of security and compliance across the organizationRisk Management: Conduct risk assessments and maintain the IT risk register Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing Identify and escalate emerging risks to senior stakeholdersIT Governance: Support the execution of IT governance processes and reporting Assist in maintaining IT policies, standards, and procedures Coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliance with governance frameworks Help prepare materials for IT audits and reviewsISO 27001 Implementation & Support: Assist in maintaining the Information Security Management System (ISMS) Support internal audits and evidence collection for ISO 27001 compliance Help track corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives Coordinate training and awareness sessions related to ISO 27001SOX Control Support: Assist in documenting and testing IT General Controls (ITGCs) Support evidence gathering and reporting for SOX compliance Help track remediation of control deficiencies Collaborate with Finance and Audit teams during SOX reviewsRequired Education And QualificationsDegree within Information technology or a similar field of studyFluency in EnglishCertification within ITIL FoundationRequired Knowledge And Experience1–3 years of experience in IT governance, cybersecurity, or compliance rolesFamiliarity with GRC and SIEM toolsFamiliarity with ISO 27001 and SOX frameworksExpertise in Excel and WordRequired Skills And CompetenciesStrong organizational and communication skillsDetail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solvingStrong analytical and documentation skillsProactive and collaborative mindsetProject ManagementKnowledge of regulatory frameworks and standardsBeneficial Education, Experience, SkillsCertifications such as ISO 27001 Foundation, CompTIA Security+, or similar are a plusProficiency in Security Technologies, Compliance Management, ISO 27001 and Sox Framework and ITIL Framework
