**Position**: Compliance Executive

**Location**: Global Business Headquarters

**Responsibilities**:
**Risk Assessment and Remediation**: Identify potential risks and develop effective plans for remediation to reduce exposure.

**Standardising Controls**: Simplify and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our controls across our Pan-European operations.

**Independent Compliance Function**: Establish a robust and independent control and compliance function to strengthen our defences and maintain compliance standards.

**Communication and Reporting**: Maintain regular communication, feedback, and reporting to the management team regarding the effectiveness of controls.

**Ethical Compliance**: Proactively identify ethical violations and compliance issues, and implement remediation plans in coordination with the management team.

**Governance Requirements**: Ensure timely communication of changes in governance requirements to all relevant stakeholders.

**Requirements**:
**Desirable**:
Partial or Full Qualification in ACCA / ACMA / ACA or equivalent (Consideration will be given to QBE applicants)
Degree in Finance or Business Administration
Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Experience with ISO 9000
Previous experience involving Quality systems

**Essential**:
Previous experience or knowledge of Governance functions or Compliance regulations and guidelines
Strong communication skills at all organisational levels
Problem-solving skills
Ambitious with the potential for career growth
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
