TruffleHunter are the UK’s leading supplier of fresh truffles and manufacturer of Truffle products. We sell into over 30 countries across foodservice, speciality, manufacturing and direct to consumer.


We are looking for Key Account Manager to grow our existing customers and hunt new business in the north, from Birmingham to Scotland. You will manage some of our largest customers and help some of our newest ones grow, as well as hunt some new business along the way.


Ideally we’d like someone with experience in working with regional foodservice and speciality distributors to use their existing relationships to open more doors to our exciting range of products. This role is very autonomous and highly visible as we are a small but growing team. You will be accountable for delivering budgeted sales revenue and well rewarded for exceeding targets.


Responsibilities

· Managing relationships with key existing UK wholesale customers on the North of the UK.

· Developing new business for TruffleHunter; foodservice, speciality and food manufacturing

· Cross-selling and up-selling TruffleHunter products to grow existing accounts

· Designing a contact plan with customers to arrange regular visits

· Arranging and attending trade shows across the UK

· Taking ownership of sales and margin targets

· Agree commercial trading terms and promotional plans with customers

· Working closely with the rest of the TruffleHunter team to launch new products


Who are we looking for?

· Experience with UK Foodservice Distributors, Buying Groups, Specialty Food Distributors and Food Manufacturers

· Passion for food

· Proactive approach who can self-motivate themselves and manage their time effectively

· The role will require a confident and articulate person who will visit and present to customers at a senior level (buyer, owner, MD)

· Experience in selling and managing large accounts

· Demonstrated ability to manage and build great relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

· Organised

· Excellent attention to detail

· Very well presented

· Works well within a team

· Keen to be part of a rapidly growing business

· Full clean driving licence
