Profits are reinvested into initiatives that help improve digital access, strengthen online safety and deliver broader social impact.They are seeking a Group Reporting Manager — a highly technical and hands-on finance leader — to strengthen financial governance, enhance reporting quality and drive process improvements across the finance function.The RoleThe Group Reporting Manager will lead financial accounting, reporting and compliance activities, overseeing AP/AR, statutory accounts, tax processes and key improvement initiatives. Working as part of a collaborative Finance Leadership Team, you will ensure the organisation maintains strong technical standards and robust financial controls.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & ControlLead month-end close, balance sheet ownership and cashflow reportingProduce accurate statutory accounts (prepared fully in-house)Maintain up-to-date accounting compliance and technical standardsOversee investment accounting and reportingAP/AR Oversight & Operational ExcellenceLine manage and coach AP and AR teams (2 direct reports)Enhance service quality, reduce days-to-pay and improve internal processesMaintain and develop financial policies, procedures and controlsTax, Audit & ComplianceLead statutory audit and all associated preparationManage tax accounting processes, including considerations for capital gains tax on investment portfoliosCollaborate with external tax advisors to ensure ongoing complianceStrategic & Continuous Improvement ProjectsLead organisational readiness for upcoming e-invoicing requirements (2029)Drive continuous improvement across financial operationsProvide strong technical advice and guidance to the wider businessAbout YouYou will thrive in an environment where technical strength, ownership and hands-on delivery are essential. To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)Experience of working in a SME environment where you have to be hands-onStrong technical accounting backgroundExperience leading statutory accounting, audit and complianceIndustry experience (not straight from practice)Line management experienceHands-on mindset, comfortable delivering without offshore supportExperience with tax accounting and an understanding of capital gains taxExperience in continuous improvement or control enhancement programmesStrong coaching and mentoring approach
