About The RoleTechnical Administrator – Water NetworksPermanent Salary £27,680 – £34,600 (depending On Experience)Location: Hanningfield, Essex About The RoleWe’re looking for someone to provide vital support to the South Water Distribution Operations Directorate. In this role, you’ll work closely with different processes and teams to ensure everything runs smoothly day-to-day, while keeping key data and reporting accurate and on time.You’ll be at the heart of operational activity, monitoring and supporting in the coordination of in-day network events such as ITS incidents, discoloration issues, and bursts. When live issues arise, you’ll lead in sharing key information across channels like WhatsApp and email, ensuring everyone stays informed and aligned.As the liaison for our field teams, you’ll manage data regarding mains isolation’s, tracking progress throughout the day. This position calls for an organised communicator who understands the pressures of an operational environment and is ready to step in and support wherever needed.About You We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can bring strong organisational and communication skills to the team. You’ll have experience in administrative roles, producing reports, and working with data, and you’ll be confident managing multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines.Collaboration is key, you’ll work closely across teams, building positive relationships with stakeholders and communicating clearly and effectively both in person and over the phone. Strong coordination skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure are essential.Ideally, you’ll have experience in network operations or utilities, along with proficiency in data analysis and performance reporting.
