Change Recruitment have the privilege of supporting a growing business based in the heart of Weston-super-Mare. We are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to work directly with the Finance Manager assisting in the day to day running of the finance department and working as part of the company leadership team.Some key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the month-end reporting activities, ensuring accurate reporting, month end journals, variance analysis, and assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Providing ad-hoc financial analysis as required
  • Manage all payroll activities (inhouse and agency).
  • Take responsibility for credit control and debt and cashflow management.
  • Monitor fixed asset/capital expenditures and complete monthly financials.
  • Overseeing the sales and purchase ledgers, and review cost centers.
  • Develop and review process guides and financial policies for financial activities to support ISO accreditation.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys being hands on in an accounts department, as well as providing reports within a senior management setting. The ideal candidate will be a minimum of AAT qualified or studying ACCA/CIMA. You will also be able to demonstrate experience working with monthly management/financial reporting.In return this role offers a salary of up to £35k, 25 days holiday, company pension, seasonal complimentary lunch, formal qualification training support, life policy, free parking onsite, gym discounts and an employee assistance programme.
