Key Account Manager – Geosynthetics (UK)Mackinnon Bruce, on behalf of a long standing partner, is delighted to present an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join a leading organisation as a Key Account Manager, specialising in the rail industry within their geosynthetics segment.This position is responsible for managing and developing key accounts within the UK rail market, driving profitable growth through strong customer partnerships and market insight..Key ResponsibilitiesManage and expand key accounts in the UK rail market, ensuring delivery of annual sales and EBITDA targets.Develop and implement a business plan aligned with segment strategy and budget objectives.Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strengthening market share and customer relationships.Support tender preparation and submissions, follow up on quotations, and maintain accurate records within the CRM system.Work closely with internal teams, including Customer Service, Production, Supply Chain, Finance, and R&D, to ensure seamless service delivery and product innovation.Travel across the UK (up to 30%), with occasional overseas trips as required.Candidate ProfileMinimum of five years’ experience within the rail construction sector.Proven success in a sales-related role; experience in civil engineering or builders’ merchant markets advantageous.Degree in Civil Engineering preferred, though not essential.Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages would be an asset.Demonstrates customer focus, market awareness, commercial acumen, and strong influencing skills.Why Join Us?This is an opportunity to contribute to a forward-looking organisation committed to growth, innovation, and excellence in the rail and geosynthetics industries.
