Compliance Manager

Our Technical Team are exclusively partnering with a thriving, privately-owned aviation business on the South Coast. With a track record of success and growth, they pride ourselves on delivering high-quality solutions for their customers. We are looking for a diligent and experienced Quality/Compliance Manager to join the team and ensure that our operations continue to meet the highest standards of regulatory compliance and safety and working with the leadership team to deliver timely solutions for their clients.



As the Compliance Manager, you will be a key member of the team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of regulatory compliance within the company. Your expertise will ensure that our operations align with industry standards, legal requirements, and company policies, fostering a culture of safety and compliance and will have a mindset that looks for solutions and works as a team to delivery excellence for the customer.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the company’s compliance programs to ensure adherence to all applicable regulations and standards, including but not limited to EASA, CAA, and GCAA Design approval
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory requirements, providing guidance and support to all departments to ensure compliance with standards such as AS9100 and Part 145.
  • Ensure compliance with Part 21 Subpart J and Part 21 Subpart G (Production Organisation Approval).
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of company operations to identify potential compliance risks and implement corrective actions in line with SMS (Safety Management System) guidelines.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, ensuring timely reporting and resolution of any compliance issues.
  • Train and educate staff on compliance-related matters, promoting a culture of compliance throughout the organisation.
  • Prepare and submit required documentation and reports to regulatory agencies.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in aviation regulations and industry best practices, advising senior management on necessary adjustments to company policies and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Quality/compliance role within the aviation industry.
  • Working knowledge of aviation regulations and industry standards such as EASA, CAA, AS9100, Part 145, Part 21
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and identify compliance risks.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
