Packaging Line Leader

Position: Packaging Line LeaderLocation: Hertfordshire, UK - Fully on-siteClient: Global Leading PharmaType: Permanent / Shifts-based roleMain ResponsibilitiesOversee performance of packaging lines and ensure adherence to standards (SOPs, SWIs, training materials).Monitor KPIs and lead regular performance reviews with cross-functional teams.Drive problem-solving for quality events and performance issues.Support operator management by providing feedback to shift managers.Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, Quality Systems, and safety standards.Coordinate communication of line issues and escalate when necessary.Support training programs and highlight skill gaps.Act as first point of contact for line issues and deputise for Production Shift Manager when required.Main RequirementsProven experience in packaging or production line leadership.Strong knowledge of GMP/GDP and quality standards.Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organisation.High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Good technical writing and documentation skills.Ability to lead meetings, manage KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.ABOUT PLANET PHARMAPlanet Pharma is an American parented Employment Business/Agency that provides global staffing services with its head-quarters in Chicago and our EMEA regional office located in Central London.
