IFA Support Administrator, Grimsby. Salary up to £35,000 (Dependent upon experience) Excellent benefits and an element of home working after a qualifying period.

This is an excellent and interesting opportunity to work for an IFA firm who have a client centred approach and are experienced in helping clients with complex needs.

The role is essentially to provide administrative support to one or more financial advisers, which includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Arranging and preparing for client meetings for the adviser
  • Obtaining valuations and appropriate literature
  • Preparing annual review packs including annual fee tables
  • Undertaking client anti-money laundering checks in line with compliance procedures
  • Preparing and submitting applications and supporting documents to product providers and inputting new business proposals
  • Undertaking fund switches and rebalances upon the instruction of the client and dealing with day-to-day client and provider enquiries
  • Maintaining client files in line with Compliance procedures
  • Keeping track of fees and chasing where appropriate
  • Happy to learn how to undertake templated reports

In order for you to be successful in the role my client is looking for the following:

  • Previous experience in an adviser support role within an IFA firm
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact directly with clients and colleagues in a professional manner
  • The ability to work accurately and in accordance with procedures having excellent time management, ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience of using provider platforms and product provider sites
  • Progression towards Diploma qualification would be ideal
