This pivotal role drives the success of the Submarine Development Agency and offers a unique career path in defence aerospace and engineeringfields that are innovative impactful and vital to national security.Day-to-day youll provide responsive support to customers by resolving issues prioritising tasks for effective outcomes diagnosing application faults and maintaining clear communication and records to ensure a smooth service experience.Support the Service Management Team by resolving customer issues and providing timely informationPrioritise tasks to deliver positive outcomes and excellent customer experienceDeliver prompt and courteous resolutions via phone and emailInvestigate and diagnose issues across a suite of bespoke web-based applicationsRecord activities and update customers on progressThis role is full time 35 hours per week shifts within 7am 7pm and is based on site at Babcock Technology Centre.Essential experience of the Application Support AnalystStrong analytical problem-solving and reporting skillsProven experience supporting bespoke web-based applicationsWorking knowledge of SQL and Oracle databasesFamiliarity with ITSM tools for incident managementExperience with Staffware workflow engine - DesirableExperience with Oracle Webcentre Portal technologies - DesirableQualifications for the Application Support AnalystA recent IT graduate or Application Support Analyst with demonstrable experienceSecurity ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check security clearance for this role.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
