Vice President of Construction Technology

Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom FMC Talent Full time

Are you ready to lead a transformative journey in the ConTech sector? Our client is searching for an experienced senior leader to lead their strategic and operational direction in the AEC market. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive adoption and growth of a market leading platform responsible for all aspects of construction projects, driving solutions closer to customers.

A bit about the company and what they can offer you

Connecting data and people is at the heart of what our client does. Their software is designed to improve the collaboration, design and productivity of the construction market, in addition to reducing the impact construction and maintenance industries have on the world.

So, why join them?

Well, their approach is to ‘put people first’ in everything they do, and it’s never more clear than in the way they treat their employees. From the big stuff like private healthcare, wellbeing support (via an EAP) and generous parental leave policies, to the nice extras like access to financial advice and discounts on your shopping, they’ve got a whole host of benefits that you’ll get from day one.

They’re also carbon neutral and conscious of their impact on the environment. If you are too then they’ll help you make a difference, whether it’s through their ‘plant a tree initiative’ or taking your three days off a year for volunteering. What’s not to like?

What you’ll be doing

In short, you’ll spearhead the strategic and operational direction for the ConTech division, reporting directly to the President and COO.

Your day to day might look a little like this:

• Developing and executing a commercially focused Business Unit strategy, including pricing strategies

• Driving product innovation, collaborating with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams

• Leading customer acquisition and retention strategies to accelerate growth in the sector

• Fostering C-suite relationships with key industry clients

A bit about you

Ideally, you’ll be based in UK with the ability to travel for work when required.

You’ll have 10+ years of experience in the Built Environment or Construction Technology and a minimum of 10 years in a senior leadership role.

A few other key skills we are looking for:

• Proven track record in high-growth environments, managing multiple products and workstreams

• A visionary leader in fast-paced, transformative environments

• Exceptional ability to build and nurture high-level relationships

• Strategic mindset to identify and capitalise on market trends

• Proven success in driving significant revenue growth and market expansion
