DKF Recruitment are on excited to be representing an award-winning, national contracting group who are looking for an experienced Passive Fire Protection Contracts Manager to join their team. Offering a wide range of services to the built environment, this group comprises of several specialist trading divisions with offices throughout the UK. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now looking to add a Passive Fire Protection Contracts Manager to their team to work on projects in London and the South East.
You would be joining a company renowned for successfully delivering complex and high-profile projects in challenging environments. From Petro-Chem clients to high street names, central government, the Royal Household, the NHS, and more. As well as having contracts with housing associations, not for profit organizations, and Local Authorities, this group regularly collaborates with a diverse range of clients.
What your core responsibilities would be:
- Confidently manage, control and oversee all aspects of the passive fire protection projects from inception to completion.
- Handle incoming enquiries from new and existing clients, developing new business leads and maintaining client bases.
- Ensure passive fire protection contracts are being carried out on site to a high standard and compliant with all health and safety regulations and other regulatory requirements.
- Stay up to date with fire safety regulations and standards ensuring that all systems meet these requirements.
- Attend client sites and provide quote for tenders.
- Compile plan of works, method statements and risk assessments in line with the latest industry legislation as well as company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate project and site documentation ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that installations are completed to the highest standards, regularly performing inspections and audits to identify and address any areas for improvement.
- Manage all training requirements as well as equipment servicing and maintenance.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:
- Experience working in a Passive Fire Protection Contracts Manager role.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, building codes, industry standards and processes related to passive fire protection.
- Excellent knowledge of current Health & Safety and Fire Regulations.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Be able to demonstrate and provide evidence of an effective approach to customer care and quality service delivery.
- An excellent problem solver with the ability to prioritise tasks.
