Working in their Machine Shop, you will be reporting directly to Chief Inspector.Duties will include:Program mills and lathes (Manual & CNC)Set-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, vices, tools, attachments, collets, gears etc.Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.Keeping work area clean/tidy plus free from hazards.Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.Document actions by completing production and quality logs.What's on Offer:Salary: £38-45k - Over-Time is paid at enhanced rates.Dayshift/Nightshift role.Progression OpportunitiesSuccessful Candidate:Time Served Engineer.Experience in both Manual and CNC Machining.Strong understanding of Engineering/Technical drawings
