About The RoleTo create and maintain a quality standard to the agreed specification within set time limits within a specific area and to minimise the amount of waste litter around key areas of the site at core times during the day working closely with the site team and also undertaking ad hoc janitorial duties as requested.

You will be working Monday to Friday, 12:30 to 15:30, 15 hours per week, on a permanent, part-time basis.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Ensure that all areas are cleaned to the highest possible standard at all times ensuring areas are free from litter at core times and litter bins are emptied and maintained and remain ascetically pleasing.
  • Adhere to company policies at all times.
  • Maintain health and safety standards and be actively involved with the managing of Health and safety on site.
  • Ensure personal appearance, including uniform, are of the highest standard at all times in line with company policy.
  • Undertake any reasonable task as requested by the Site Manager or supervisor
  • Ensure all tasks are recorded through helpdesk accordingly.
  • To complete all allocated domestic tasks shown on the work schedule for a specific area.
  • To maintain all equipment used in a clean, tidy, and safe condition.
  • To report any signs of pest infestation to your supervisor.

Critical Performance Measures (CPMs) / Objectives:

  • To Maintain your personal hygiene within acceptable standards.
  • To ensure you observe and abide by all local rules and policies relevant to the site where you work.
  • You must report to your supervisor if for any reason you cannot complete the service.
  • To perform any other duties which may be reasonably required by your line manager or the company.
  • Maintain full compliance with ISO 9002 requirements for which you have a responsibility.
  • To actively be involved with Health & Safety on and around the site and bring issues to the Site Manager for logging and potentially further investigation and not to undertake tasks in a manner which could potentially be seen as breaching the health & safety at work act and OCS policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 2 in Healthcare and BICS cleaning certificate. Not essential as training will be given.
  • Cleaning experience desired but not essential as training will be given.
  • Ability to follow policy and procedures.
  • Willingness to bring concerns to corporate attention via prescribed channels.
