Position: O365 Business Analyst
Location: Remote with occasional travel to sites across the UK and internationally - will be expected to be onsite across UK twice a month.
Contract Type: Outside IR35
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated O365 Business Analyst to oversee the migration of company infrastructure and laptops to O365. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth transition, documentation, and communication with the business across various sites in the UK and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Manage the migration project, ensuring that all tasks and documentation are up to date and accurately reflected in a comprehensive spreadsheet.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with various business units to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure the smooth progression of the project.
- Documentation: Maintain and update Excel documentation related to the migration process, ensuring all relevant information is captured and easily accessible.
- Communication: Facilitate regular conversations with business stakeholders to keep them informed and address any concerns or issues.
- Site Visits: Travel to Shropshire twice a month and other sites as required to meet project needs and engage with stakeholders directly.
- IT Infrastructure: Utilize strong IT infrastructure skills to understand and address technical aspects of the migration process.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of three infrastructure engineers to ensure seamless implementation and troubleshooting.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience with O365: Proven experience in managing or participating in O365 migration projects.
- Excel Proficiency: High level of comfort and skill in using Excel for documentation and tracking project progress.
- IT Infrastructure Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including experience with laptop and systems migration.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage projects, including coordinating tasks, maintaining documentation, and meeting deadlines.
- Flexibility: Ability to work remotely with occasional travel requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address technical and logistical challenges as they arise.
Desirable Attributes
- Previous Experience: Prior experience working with international sites and understanding the complexities involved in global projects.
- Technical Certifications: Relevant certifications in O365, IT infrastructure, or project management.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a dynamic environment.
