Sewell Wallis are working with a well-established company based in Manchester City Centre. They are going through a period of growth and are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team. This role is perfect for someone who is looking for longevity and a place where they can use their skills to the best of their abilities.

This role will be providing support to the company's credit control function so previous experience in a similar role is essential.

What will you be doing?

  • Posting and allocating receipts to customer ledgers. Using the phone and emails to chase accounts that are overdue.
  • Preparing arrears letters.
  • Allocating and posting receipts to ledgers.
  • Managing the Accounts Receivable inbox.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Previous credit control experience within an office environment, ideally within a Finance team.
  • Basic knowledge of finance processes and procedures.
  • Confident in contacting customers by email/phone to discuss their accounts.
  • Excellent IT skills, confident in using Microsoft packages.
