Assistant General Manager - High-End Dining Experience

We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to join a renowned, high-end dining establishment. With a salary up to £57,000 and room for growth, this role is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional ready to make a meaningful impact.

As the Assistant General Manager, you'll work alongside the General Manager to elevate guest satisfaction, streamline daily operations, and mentor a high-performing team. This position offers hands-on leadership experience in an elegant dining setting with ample opportunities for career advancement.

What we would love from you:

  • Ensure exceptional service quality by leading and mentoring front-of-house teams.
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and daily operational flow to maintain seamless service.
  • Implement and monitor staff training programs, promoting a customer-focused culture.
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure consistent quality and service.
  • Assist with budget management, inventory control, and financial performance to meet targets.
  • Handle guest relations and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction and positive feedback.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Assistant General Manager role and within an upscale or fine-dining restaurant environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a positive, hands-on approach.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards, along with experience managing budgets and cost controls.
  • A commitment to high standards and a passion for hospitality excellence.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
