Position Title: Business Development Partner - Infection Prevention


Job Summary:

The Business Development Partner - Infection Prevention plays a crucial role in driving growth and expanding market presence in the field of infection prevention within the organization. This role involves identifying strategic opportunities, cultivating relationships, and executing initiatives to promote our infection prevention solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of business acumen, industry expertise, and a proactive mindset to capitalize on market trends and emerging opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Analysis:

  - Conduct comprehensive market research to identify key trends, competitors, and opportunities in the infection prevention industry.

  - Analyze market dynamics, customer needs, and regulatory landscape to inform strategic decision-making.


2. Strategy Development:

  - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine the infection prevention business strategy.

  - Define short-term and long-term goals, identifying actionable initiatives to achieve business objectives.


3. Partnership and Relationship Management:

  - Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including healthcare institutions, distributors, industry partners, and opinion leaders.

  - Negotiate partnership agreements, contracts, and alliances to expand market reach and strengthen the company's position in the infection prevention sector.


4. New Business Development:

  - Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including product expansion, market penetration, and geographic expansion.

  - Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and market share in targeted segments.


5. Product Positioning and Differentiation:

  - Work closely with the marketing team to develop compelling value propositions, messaging, and promotional materials for infection prevention products and services.

  - Ensure alignment of messaging with customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends.


6. Sales Support:

  - Provide support to the sales team by offering product expertise, conducting product training, and participating in customer meetings and presentations.

  - Collaborate with sales representatives to develop tailored solutions and address customer concerns.


7. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against business objectives.

  - Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and opportunities in the infection prevention market.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

- Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing roles within the healthcare industry, with a focus on infection prevention preferred.

- Strong understanding of infection prevention products, processes, and regulations.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.

- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans.

- Results-oriented with a track record of driving business growth and achieving sales targets.

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
