Critical Mass have a fantastic opportunity to join the team working directly for our Diageo client on a 6 month fixed term contract. This is an exciting role that can be based remotely in the UK or from our clients amazing offices based in central London.The Global D2C and Brand Websites Team are searching for a creative and detail-orientated Content Editor. This role will involve working on two of their big websites to edit curate and organise content as well as designing and QA-ing pages. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of content management systems preferably Contentful and have experience in creating visually appealing user-friendly web pages using provided copy images and videos.A key part of this role will be executing a large-scale content migration and build for one of Diageos large websites so experience working on previous migration projects is a must.Core ResponsibilitiesPage DesignTake approved copy images and videos upload to Contentful and use to design and create pages that are both visually appealing easily navigated and optimised across devicesMap content from old to new page designs as part of a content migrationContent UploadUpload approved copy images and videos to Contentful and input into pre-existing page templates e.g. Product Description PagesInput approved meta data and image alt textReview the completeness of content submitted for automatic bulk upload and identify where content is missing if relevantAsset Gathering and SelectionWhen required source additional or replacement images and videos from Diageos content hub or Diageo stakeholders and upload to Contentful for use on-siteQuality Assurance and ControlQA all owned page designs before publishingReview and tweak page designs from other teams if needed and as capacity allowsSupport with QA as part of a content migration and site relaunchCollaborationWork closely with other members of the wider team and relevant stakeholders to understand upcoming work deadlines and requirementsPartner with product managers and development teams to highlight new requirements and/or bugs as identified through design upload and migration processesAttend relevant team meetings and stakeholder meetings as required and report on project status workload and capacityDocument all content projects in relevant internal process tool (DevOps) to enable visibility and clarity on workload across team and stakeholdersQualifications and SkillsEssentialAt least 2-3 years of experience in a content editor web design or similar roleExperience with content management systemsExperience on Migration projectsAn eye for creative page designStrong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyPreferredExperience with ContentfulAn understanding of foundational SEO and site accessibility principles and how they relate to page designBeing comfortable and agile in the face of changing deadlines and ambiguityFeeling empowered to push back and negotiate priorities based on capacity and deadlinesCritical Mass is an equal opportunity employer.The Critical Mass Talent Acquisition team will only communicate from email addresses that use the URLs and.
