Were on a mission to become the UKs leading energy transition and utilities contractor. As we grow were looking for a Procurement Manager to help shape and deliver our procurement strategy.The role may lead a small team of procurement professionals collaborating with internal stakeholders and driving cost savings efficiency improvements and quality enhancements across the procurement function.What Youll Be DoingSupporting the Head of Procurement in developing and executing procurement strategies.Leading and mentoring a team of procurement professionals.Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.Managing supplier performance and driving continuous improvement.Enhancing procurement systems and processes to boost efficiency and visibility.Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of purchase orders and contracts.Collaborating with Accounts Payable to streamline P2P processes.What Were Looking ForProven experience in procurement or supply chain ideally in a project-based environment.Strong leadership negotiation and stakeholder management skills.Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset.Proficient in procurement systems and Microsoft Office tools.Relevant degree or professional qualification (CIPS preferred).Driven by values powered by inclusion.At OCU our values guide everything we do: integrity collaboration respect innovation and one company united.
