Hypemasters is a fast-growing game development company that creates cutting-edge mobile & PC games focusing on innovation, creativity, and engaging gameplay. We are looking for a Lead Data Analyst to join our team and help us revolutionise the RTS genre.

As a Lead Data Analyst at Hypemasters, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data-driven insights to enhance player experiences, optimise game performance, and drive strategic decision-making for our game.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate closely with game designers, product managers, and developers to identify key questions, define success metrics, and design experiments to test hypotheses.
  2. Estimate the financial performance of features and games as a whole.
  3. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor game KPIs, track player engagement, and identify opportunities for optimisation.
  4. Support the current analytical stack, including Looker and BigQuery; investigate data losses and provide fixes.
  5. Develop hypotheses based on data insights and create A/B test plans.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. 3-5 years of proven experience as a data analyst in the gaming industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour, game mechanics, and in-game economies.
  2. Strong knowledge of data infrastructure solutions e.g. Looker and BigQuery.
  3. Strong English language skills.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making processes.
  5. Self-motivated and proactive with a passion for gaming and a desire to innovate and push the boundaries of analytics in the gaming industry.
