Bright Side Recruitment Ltd is delighted to be assisting a local, family run Garage Services business in their search for a reliable, responsible, and physically fit person who can work weekday mornings (until 1pm). The role may suit a person who is looking for an additional, regular source of income and still have their afternoons and weekends free

The duties of a Garage Assistant will include:

• Checking incoming vehicles for existing damage prior to any work being carried out
• Checking In/Out courtesy cars for existing and new damage
• Working to checklists and preparing Vehicle Condition Reports, detailing any of the above
• Washing cars (external only)
• Re positioning of vehicles (on site only)
• Cleaning and tidying staff facilities (reception, kitchen area, bathroom)
• Washing cleaning cloths / sponges
• Stock control of cleaning equipment
• Occasionally meeting / greeting of customers
• Occasional tea / coffee making for staff and visitors

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to manage their own workload, and take complete ownership of the role.

What is required?

• Common sense
• A 'self-starter’ attitude to work
• A current / clean driving licence
• A keen eye for detail
• Exceptional customer service skills
