Depot Assistant

**About the role**:
Omnis Highway Solutions are looking for a Depot Assistant to be based at our Dartford depot, working closely with our Operations team to ensure the depot is maintained effectively.
- Monday to Friday, with weekend overtime available as per business needs
- 10 hour shifts, 6am - 4pm

**Responsibilities**:
As a Depot Assistant at Omnis Highway Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Dartford depot. Your responsibilities will include:

- **General Maintenance**: Undertake general maintenance tasks to keep the depot facilities clean and tidy, ensuring a safe and organized environment for both staff and equipment.
- **Stock Management**: Maintaining a good level of stock and ensuring it's well-organized, clean and tidy. Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages and assist with any restocking of new equipment.
- **Communication**: Effective communication is essential - communicating with the Operations team, providing regular updates on stock levels, maintenance needs, and any issues that require attention.
- **Sign Making**: Assist in the production of signs and materials as needed, ensuring they meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations. Ensuring signage is made in sufficient time to ensure ease of our operations.
- **Van Reports/Inspections**: Conduct inspections of our fleet, including reporting any damages or defects, checking vehicle conditions when vans are returned to the depot, including inspection reports sent to the Operations team. Assisting with the organization of the fleet and any planned maintainance, either on site or at local authorised garages.

**Salary**: £26,500.00-£27,100.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
