We're seeking a talented Underwriter to join our dynamic team in Warrington. In this key role, you'll be responsible for assessing creditworthiness, pricing loans, and ensuring compliance within our car finance business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate potential customers' financial information to determine their creditworthiness.
  • Calculate appropriate interest rates and loan terms based on risk assessment.
  • Create and issue loan agreements and other necessary documentation.
  • Implement measures to prevent fraudulent loan applications.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including the Consumer Credit Act.
  • Build and maintain relationships with dealers and brokers.
  • Analyze underwriting data to identify trends and improve processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
