About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bridging Underwriter Specialist to join our team at Placing Faces. As a key member of our underwriting department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing of loan applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite loan applications in accordance with our credit policy, ensuring all details are accurate and compliant with regulations.
  • Identify and escalate any potential fraudulent activity, maintaining the integrity of our lending processes.
  • Recommend loans to the Underwriting Director and Credit Team where they fall outside of our lending mandate.
  • Provide guidance and support to a team of Underwriters, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Contribute to the improvement of our loan processing systems and processes, staying up-to-date with regulatory changes.

  • A standard Monday-to-Friday schedule, with a 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM workday and no weekend work.
