An outstanding job opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist in a Mental Health Hospital service in Haslemere, Surrey. Annual Base Salary up to £40,000. Qualifications Qualified Occupational Therapist with current HCPC registrationOther post-qualification training relative to the role and OPMH (Older People’s Mental Health) or Forensic PsychiatryKnowledge and ExperienceAt least 1 years’ experience at Band 5 or equivalent in OPMH or Forensic PsychiatryKnowledge of the Mental Health Act (1983/2007) and its applicationKnowledge of the Mental Capacity Act (2005) and how it relates to patient choiceUnderstanding of vulnerable adult and children safeguarding proceduresOrganising and prioritising own workloadsDemonstrate ability to enhance care through evidence-based practiceDemonstrate professional development relevant to the care of older peopleKnowledge of assessment and management of clinical risk For more information, please call LKA Recruitment on (phone number removed) option 3 or email your CV to (url removed)
