CK Group are recruiting for a Contracting and Outsourcing Manager to join a global pharmaceutical company on a contract basis initially for 12 months. Salary:Per hour: 28.53 PAYE or 38.84 Umbrella - this role is inside IR35 Contracting and Outsourcing Manager Role:Manage the research outsourcing lifecycle including service provider assessment, contract negotiation (e.g., Confidentiality Agreements, Services Agreements, Material Transfer Agreements, Consultancy Agreements), performance monitoring, contract amendments, budget monitoring, and study closeout.Support the management of outsourced activities and collaborations within the preclinical research departments (including elements of early development), including interactions and negotiations with external partners.Implement high-quality contracts ensuring compliance with Legal, Intellectual Property, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Ethics and Business Integrity policies, using approved templates.Optimize the outsourcing process in close collaboration with key departments such as Legal, IP, Procurement, QA, IT, and E&BI. Adopt the Contract Lifecycle Management system for creating template-driven outsourced activities, including contract archiving.Track outsourced activities in the C&OM repository, ensuring key terms are monitored and any required amendments are implemented in a timely manner.Your Background:Experience in contract interpretation and negotiation.Degree in Sciences strongly preferred.Well-organized with strong computer system skills.Self-starter, team player, proactive, analytical, and results-oriented.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to establish and optimize trusted relationships with key partners and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.Company: Our client is a is a global biopharmaceutical company focused on creating value for people living with severe diseases in immunology and neurology now and into the future.
