KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Have a comprehensive understanding of all core business and the operations requirements to ensure service excellence standards are met and exceeded throughout the team. This includes Airfreight imports/exports/customs.
  • Identify and deliver increased revenue in line with current KPI’s.
  • Achieve job profitability targets as specified in the budget, deploying better buying and achieving revenue opportunities.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the current budget, its opportunities and constraints, to deliver the GP v staff cost ratio.
  • Lead the team to ensure that all invoicing, profits, WIP’s and accruals are complete in line with company policy.
  • Develop, implement and review operational policies, system workflows and procedures.
  • Deliver full compliance to the company credit policy throughout the team in conjunction with the Finance team.
  • Contribute to budgeting, reporting, planning and auditing.
  • Achieve monthly operational KPI’s as specified.
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Develop positive partnerships with clients, agents and suppliers.



Location: Onsite or Hybrid with 3 days at our Egham Office.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

· At least 5 year's experience in an airfreight operations role, within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.

· Experience in a managerial role.

· Experience in a commercial setting - Desirable

· Knowledge of using CargoWise - Desirable
