Senior Ruby on Rails Software Engineer with a sound understanding of the Rails framework required (remotely) by a growing software house to help them develop a diverse range of full stack and back end SaaS products from agile mobile apps to complex enterprise web applications, for a varied global client base. Day to day, the Senior Ruby on Rails Software Engineer will be a influential leader, dealing directly with clients and key stakeholders, working with multi-discipline team of designers, developers, and engineers together helping to build scalable, high performing SaaS products.


The right Senior Ruby on Rails Software Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

  • Full Stack skills with strong experience of the RoR framework.
  • Agnostic experience of many languages and frameworks:
  • Rails 7, C#, Java, Springboot, ReactJS, React Native, Selenium, CI/CD, Jira, GCP, AWS, Azure, and more
  • Experience of large software systems.
  • Solid grasp of CI/CD principles, OO principles, software design patterns and anti-patterns.
  • Cloud such as AWS or GCP.
  • Relational databases.
  • Natural aptitude for all things tech.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to debug and diagnose in a sensible and methodical manner.
