Job Description

Ingenii Search is partnering with a dynamic pharmaceutical company to revolutionize pharmaceutical delivery through innovative technology solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our technology team as a Ruby on Rails Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance Ruby on Rails applications.
  • Manage a team of software engineers, providing coaching, feedback, and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to deployment and maintenance.
  • Define project timelines, resource requirements, and dependencies, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, and escalate issues as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in Ruby on Rails development, with a deep understanding of the Rails framework and ecosystem.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and experience with database design and optimization.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies, test-driven development (TDD), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
