Job Description

The role of the Services Sales Leader is to understand the evolving goals and priorities of the organizations in the Off-shore market and convert them in sales strategies to improve revenue generation. This is a leadership role with huge impact on the organisation's strategy success.

In this role you will,
  • Define and achieve the sales target regarding value, profitability, and value-added services for the naval services market.
  • Develop new business opportunities with maximum revenue growth as well as continue to drive high revenue business from key accounts.
  • Lead (manage performance, coach, guide) a multiskilled sales team through customer value solution-based sales strategies.
  • Drive the sales process from prospect to close.
  • Stay tuned to the market and competition, participating in trade events, conferences, customer forums, and then bringing input to internal teams around technological changes and offerings that will help to differentiate GE Power Conversion in the marketplace.
  • Liaise with the Regional Sales Managers to create an effective global sales network.
We are looking for an experienced sales leader with
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Technology or related field.
  • Proven Offshore or Marine experience in a commercial selling role.
  • Experience in leading a team.
  • Experience in influencing in a matrix organization.
  • Knowledge of customer procurement processes.
  • Knowledge of SFDC.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, drives, and automation systems.
  • Ability to travel to overseas destinations on short notice and for short periods as the business requires.
  • "C" suite engagement experience
  • Business Language (English fluency spoken and written)
