We are currently recruiting for a Science Teacher to work in a Secondary School in Halifax to start in September 2024 for the full academic year.The school are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their vibrant secondary school community in Halifax. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching A-Level classes for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities * Deliver high-quality science lessons to students of varying abilities. * Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. * Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards. * Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support where needed. * Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Science department. * Engage with parents and carers to provide regular updates on student progress.Requirements: * QTS or relevant teaching qualification * Well qualified with an honours degree in relevant subject * 2 x references from educational establishments * A passion for success and quality teaching * An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or willing to obtain oneRate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
