Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Piling Supervisor to take responsibility for the delivery of all piling works associated with the construction of a solar farm. The successful candidate will oversee piling crews on site, ensuring that works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the correct technical standards. This role requires excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, together with a solid understanding of piling methods, ground conditions, and the specific requirements of renewable energy projects. Responsibilities The Piling Supervisor will manage and coordinate piling activities on site from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring that works follow design specifications and method statements. They will be accountable for enforcing health and safety standards, conducting daily site inspections, and leading toolbox talks to promote a strong safety culture. Close liaison with engineers, site managers, and quality teams will be essential to address technical challenges and verify that piles are installed to the correct tolerances. The supervisor will monitor progress against programme, keep accurate records of piling activities, and ensure plant, equipment, and materials are used efficiently.
