Mathematical C++ Software Developer - Cambridge
Salary: 45,000 - 70,000 GBP per year

At ECM Selection (Holdings) Limited we are looking for a C / C++ engineer

Our tech stack:
Verilog

Requirements:

  1. A Master's or PhD in a relevant subject backed by a 1st or 2:1 in a STEM subject and As or A*s at A Level
  2. Strong knowledge of C++ used for developing algorithms
  3. Full existing rights to work in the UK without time limit or sponsorship
  4. Additional knowledge of Verilog or TCL would be beneficial but is not required

Your responsibilities:
We are focused on creating impactful new algorithms in C++. As a team, we continuously investigate and implement novel methods to solve real-world problems in electronics design. We encourage experimentation and the exploration of new ideas while prioritizing the commercialization of these techniques. Your work will have a significant impact on companies around the globe, and you will need to demonstrate that your algorithms can be implemented efficiently. A solid understanding of C++ and performance-related aspects of the Standard Template Library (STL) is crucial.
