Our client is a leading contractor in the Construction, Utilities and Civil Engineering industry, known for delivering exceptional projects that drive innovation and sustainability. They specialise in projects across the Water, Utilities, Civils and Highways sectors.


Position Overview:

They are seeking an experienced Framework Manager with a strong background in Civil Engineering and / or Utilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing framework agreements, ensuring that all projects within the framework are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and project management skills.


Key Responsibilities:


Framework Management:

  • Oversee the implementation and management of framework agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with framework guidelines and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor the performance of projects within the framework, ensuring they meet set objectives and standards.


Project Coordination:

  • Coordinate and manage multiple projects within the framework, ensuring effective resource allocation and project delivery.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Conduct regular progress meetings and provide updates to senior management and clients.


Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for framework agreements.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.


Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess risks associated with framework projects and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor risk factors and implement necessary adjustments to minimize impact.


Client and Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication with all parties involved in framework projects.
  • Address client and stakeholder concerns promptly and effectively.


Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all projects within the framework comply with relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Implement quality control measures and ensure adherence to project specifications.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.


Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers and other professionals.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
