Behaviour Teaching Assistant  Wakefield £21450 - £25350 Per Annum Dependent on Experience Full Time Availability Only Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: recent experience obtained within the last 2 years, of working with children or young people, ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play or care setting. We must be able to obtain references from these roles. Work can be made permanent or long term for the right candidate. The Role We are currently seeking additional Behaviour Teaching Assistants for supply work within our partner specialist provisions.  The Behaviour Support Assistant role involves supporting groups of children with additional needs such as Autism, PMLD, MLD, challenging behaviours and social, emotional and mental health needs. You will be required to work within group and 1:1 setting with a range of ages and levels of learning. Your daily routine will involve continuously adapting and working alongside pupils to make their time in school as beneficial and productive as possible.
