Description

As an ambassador for L'Occitane, the main responsibilities of this role are to effectively manage the store and to consistently achieve the store objectives and business goals.

Contract Type: Permanent
Weekly Hours: 37.5

What Will You Do?

Day to Day

  1. Oversee and be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Boutique.
  2. Ensure the highest level of customer service is given through L'Occi way (our customer experience model), and measured against store objectives.
  3. Effectively delegate, prioritize, direct and supervise all boutique employees.
  4. Uphold the L'Occitane values ensuring PROSPERITY is at the core of everything we do.

Commercial Flair

  1. Drive KPI's and results to reach and exceed targets.
  2. Have a strong understanding of different market types and customers.
  3. Demonstrate entrepreneurial skills in organizing local marketing events to drive boutique sales.
  4. Full accountability on all aspects of stock management ensuring that all stock is processed correctly.
  5. Identify new and innovative ways to drive incremental sales.
  6. Embrace virtual social selling and look for opportunities to drive the business forward digitally.

People

  1. Lead by example and take overall responsibility for coaching and mentoring the team.
  2. Maintain staff turnover by recruiting the right people and delivering all required training in line with company guidelines.
  3. Demonstrate and coach customer service skills through L'Occi way & MTS (online learning platform) personally and with the team.
  4. Effectively demonstrate people management, coaching & developing all team members to maximize their potential.

Reporting

  1. Use our commercial reporting system (Tableau) to review performance and make commercial decisions to drive sales/KPI's.
  2. Coordinate the store schedule and manage team timekeeping, absence reporting, and payroll.

Future Focus

  1. Maintain excellent personal product knowledge to effectively advise and recommend products, campaigns, and offers.
  2. Seek opportunities to support Brand through project work.
  3. Maintain good working relationships with Centre management/BID teams.
  4. Ensure all online training is completed to prioritize your development whilst with L'Occitane.

Driving Results

  1. Provide the highest level of service to ensure all customers have an exceptional shopping experience by following the L'Occi way.
  2. Support in-Boutique and external customer events.
  3. Adhere to Company policies and procedures at all times.

The Perfect Candidate:

  1. A love of retail, demonstrated by 3 years plus of retail management experience.
  2. Proven commercial acumen.
  3. Clear communication skills - Communicates confidently and effectively in group situations.
  4. Drives financial objectives personally & within the team.
  5. Business and Competitor Awareness.
  6. Self-Motivation - Proactively seeks ways to enhance own performance.
  7. Customer Focus - Develops team to exceed customer expectations.
  8. Planning & Prioritising - Able to prioritise tasks to achieve objectives.
  9. Confident in making decisions without input from Senior Management.
