Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and talented Senior Retoucher to join our team between October 1 and November 15, 2023. As a Senior Retoucher, you will collaborate closely with our Head of Stills, mentor junior team members, and ensure the delivery of outstanding visual content that exceeds our clients' expectations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Stills to develop and execute retouching strategies that align with client briefs and project objectives.
  • Lead and manage the retouching process, from file preparation and high-resolution compositing to final colour styling and conversions.
  • Apply your extensive knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and other relevant retouching software to consistently achieve exceptional results.
  • Oversee and review the work of junior retouchers, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of retouched images.
  • Manage project timelines and priorities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment within the retouching team.
  • Continuously improve and innovate retouching techniques to elevate the quality of our work.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional industry experience in retouching.
  • Expertise in Adobe Photoshop and other relevant retouching software.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage retouching projects, including mentoring junior team members.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and mastery of colour correction techniques.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proactive and innovative mindset, staying current with industry trends and techniques.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.
