Bristol, United Kingdom Chartered Management Institute Full time

Location: Hybrid between Home, London or Corby

Reports to: Head of Marketing

Salary: £45,000 plus excellent benefits

About the role:

As CMI’s Digital Marketing Specialist, you will manage all aspects of digital advertising end-to-end, including campaign execution, optimisation, reporting, and recommendations. This role requires a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach, as you will be implementing new processes, reports, and ways of working from the ground up. You will act as an in-house digital marketing expert, providing strategic insights on GDPR compliance, SEO, content creation, and digital tracking. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, taking initiative and solving problems independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage digital advertising campaigns from setup to execution, optimisation, and reporting.
  • Analyse performance data and make recommendations for campaign improvements, applying insights to future campaigns.
  • Write high-quality SEO-optimised copy for digital campaigns, websites, and other content, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies.
  • Map customer journeys for products by meeting with stakeholders, understanding marketing touchpoints (digital and non-digital), and using tools like Miro to visualise and optimise the journey from start to finish.
  • Create detailed reports and dashboards to support the team in optimising campaigns and content.
  • Provide actionable insights and present findings or reporting analysis to the marketing team and senior leaders, making recommendations to inform key strategic decisions.
  • Monitor and track digital marketing budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.

About you:

We are an inclusive employer and welcome all diverse backgrounds, where individuality is celebrated, creating both a forward-thinking team and a supportive space for everyone in the CMI team. We actively invite applications from diverse cultures and experience.

  • We are looking for someone who can enhance our culture and align with our core values. We want someone who is ‘Passionate’ in making a positive difference to the skills of managers and leaders, ‘Practical’; with the ability to make quick and smart decisions, ‘Progressive’ about creating a better future and maintaining a ‘Professional’ code of conduct, through being accountable and ethical in everything that we do.
  • Proven experience managing digital marketing campaigns end-to-end, including strategy, execution, and optimisation.
  • Expertise in SEO, GDPR compliance, PPC, content creation, and digital reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in creating reports and dashboards using tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, and Salesforce.
  • Excellent copywriting skills with experience creating SEO-optimised content for various digital platforms.
  • Ability to translate complex data and technical information into clear, easy-to-understand insights for non-specialists and stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently and take initiative in solving problems.
  • Experience with customer journey mapping and using tools like Miro to optimise marketing touchpoints.
