Key Responsibility Areas
Long term projects and strategy:
- Identify partnerships and structure a map to guide and build strategic alliances.
- Continuously create insights and inputs and contribute to the B2B & B2G Long Term Plan.
- Produce and present to the organization yearly benchmarking of key competitor offerings.
- Lead the B2B technology update with customers – 1 per year.
Business Development:
- Liaise with the TCSUK, TEMUK sales teams, TG&P along with other UK Group companies for lead generation, cross selling and resolution of relevant sales issues.
- Watch internally and externally the technology and products that could be leveraged with customers.
- Work closely with TCSUK & TECS marketing team to develop and update EV sales tools (sales presentations, brochures, case studies, market studies, promotions).
- Listen to partner’s/customer’s requirements/constraints if known and/or guide the stakeholder towards tailored solution that are available in the TCSUK portfolio.
- Build new business propositions, quotations and prepare rollout together with the commercial, marketing & operations team.
- Develop and secure B2B and B2B2G opportunities for TCS UK business.
- Build long lasting (customer) relationships and partnerships with businesses.
- Create synergy between Group Low Carbon solutions, including solar, battery storage and EV to meet customer needs.
- Cross selling opportunities for business energy supply via TG&P.
Other aspects
- Active market watch of new energy developments and trends.
- Active monitoring and engagement of public/private tender organizations and websites.
Qualification and Experience Required
- Good knowledge of new energies, 5 years’ commercial experience is desirable.
- A passion for e-Mobility, EV Charging and sustainable mobility will be advantageous.
- This role requires entrepreneurship & adaptability to change in a fast-moving business environment and market.
- Commercial & customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to build strong partnership relations at all levels to Director/MD.
- Good relationships and ease in matrix management, demonstrated through experience in an operational or project management or marketing strategy & implementation role.
- Creative, entrepreneurial and above all a team player.
- Flexible and agile attitude in rapidly growing environment.
- Ability to negotiate in challenging environments.
- Responsiveness and decision-making ability, knowing when to involving others.
- Financial experience to prepare, monitor and produce EV B2B & B2G business channel results
