We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter for a key engineering client based in Cardiff on a contract running through to December 2024. As a mechanical fitter you would be working 40 hours a week, early and late shifts Monday to Friday alternating each week on a rate of £17.69 an hour. Overtime will be available midweek and weekends on an enhanced rate. Key Responsibilities of the mechanical fitter would be overhaul of bogies, brakes, all underframe of vehicles, couplers, and chassis. We are looking for mechanical fitters with previous experience on vehicle maintenance and with an engineering level 3 qualification or equivalent. All successful candidates will be required to pass a safety critical medical and drugs and alcohol test prior to starting.
