Prospectus is delighted to be supporting our client as they look to appoint an Interim Operations and Governance Manager to their team on a 6 Month Contract.
The organisation is a small family-led independent grant-making charity. The organisation's Charities Office provides administrative services to four other charities, the majority of which are also grant-making charities.
This is an interim role providing day-to-day management to the five Charities, ensuring their smooth running until the permanent Director role is in place. It will be a busy and varied workload, covering tasks and responsibilities relating to governance, finance, grant making and administration. You will also provide line management to the Grants Officer and delegate tasks to the contract Finance Manager.
The successful candidate will have strong understanding of charity governance and operations, ideally with a background of running or operating within small organisations. You will have strong time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage a varied workload. You will have strong stakeholder engagement experience, with experience of working with trustee boards.
They are looking for someone to join the organisation as soon as possible so candidates with no, or small, notice periods shall only be considered.
