Job DescriptionEstates Director (Contract)Location: Birmingham City CentreRate: 450480 per day (Inside IR35)Duration: Initial contract until February with potential to extendWorking Pattern: Full-time on-siteWhy this could be for youAn opportunity for an experienced Estates Director to take the lead at a major mixed-use destination in central Birmingham. Youll provide immediate impact overseeing day-to-day operations leading the on-site team and maintaining high standards across a complex commercial environment.This role suits someone confident operating autonomously able to manage stakeholders effectively and comfortable stepping into an established high-profile estate to keep performance and relationships strong.What youll be doingLead and coordinate all estate management activity across office retail leisure and residential spaces.Maintain operational continuity and ensure compliance across health safety and sustainability.Build and sustain strong relationships with occupiers and contractors.Oversee budgets service charge and cost control.Manage suppliers and ensure delivery against agreed standards.Report regularly on performance risks and key operational metrics.What youll bringProven track record managing large mixed-use or commercial estates.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.510 years experience in estates facilities or property operations leadership.Solid financial and service charge management experience.Practical solutions-focused approach with the ability to hit the ground running.Excellent organisational skills and calm under pressure.What makes this opportunity stand outLead operations for one of Birminghams most prominent city-centre sites.High visibility with key stakeholders and occupiers.A hands-on delivery-focused interim role with real influence.Potential for extension based on performance and project needs.If youre a seasoned estates professional who can step in quickly take control and keep a complex site performing smoothly this contract will suit you well.Required Experience:Director Key Skills Fundraising,Management Experience,Coaching,Analysis Skills,Strategic Planning,Team Management,Budgeting,Leadership Experience,Mentoring,Public Speaking,negotiation,Supervising Experience Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Daily Salary Salary: 450 - 480
