Salary: £35,000 per annum

Availability: Full-time

About Us: Milk Beach is an Australian restaurant and bar with two locations in London - the original located on the beautiful Lonsdale Road mews in Queen’s Park, West London and the new restaurant in Soho, central London. We serve dishes inspired by the diverse cultures that make up modern Australian cuisine. Each site has its own unique menus so each restaurant has its own identity. At Milk Beach, we are passionate about delivering a uniquely Australian experience to our guests - with highly professional and knowledgeable service that is also engaging, unpretentious and fun.

The Head of Brand, Marketing & Content Creation is responsible for shaping and executing the Milk Beach brand strategy, marketing initiatives, and content creation across all marketing channels. This is a creative, engaging, and innovative role, with the aim to increase audience engagement, build brand awareness, and expand our digital visibility. Passion for, and knowledge of the food and beverage industry is a must, as you will be sharing and promoting our establishment’s vision and values. Your marketing expertise and creative expression will help us shape and share our brand identity, boosting our culinary voice within the hospitality community.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee, manage and execute all marketing channels
  2. Instagram content creation, copy and scheduling
  3. Email marketing
  4. Local marketing initiatives like posters, business relationships, hotel relationships
  5. Content Creation
  6. Ability to produce and edit high quality photo and video content
  7. Production of high quality and engaging video content for socials including fun recipe and preparation videos for home-cooks (see Fallow and Thomas Straker socials), as well as live restaurant footage (see Manteca, Oma and Smokestak socials)
  8. Work with our PR agency (CuraConn) to produce content and generate stories and leads to be covered by press
  9. Work with our Sales, Reservations, and Events Manager to organise Milk Beach events to promote the brand and generate business growth
  10. Review hospitality competitions and complete entry requirements

Requirements:

  • Someone who takes initiative, is highly creative and eager to develop the Milk Beach brand
  • Proven experience in digital marketing industry (3-5 yrs) ideally in the food, hospitality sector
  • Strong food and beverage passion and knowledge
  • Experience and skill in high quality content creation
  • Ability to write great intelligent copy with attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge of various marketing channels, platforms, and tools
  • Proactive, independent, and organised self-starter
  • Self-manage projects and meet deadlines
  • Someone who takes initiative and creativity in finding new ways to market the brand
